Who are AHRD Members?

AHRD attracts members from around the globe who share a passion for HRD research and theory, and for using it to improve HRD practice. It currently has 700+ members from 39 countries. They include members who are:

• HRD researchers - who join AHRD to network with peers, support HRD research, attend research-focused conferences, share their findings, and learn more about the wide range of HRD research happening around the world
• HRD practitioners - who join AHRD to learn about cutting edge-research and theory, meet those who produce HRD research and theory, and network with those who are leading HRD practices in 100+ organizations
• HRD students - who join AHRD to network with senior HRD academics from around the world, present their own research, and support their journey as emerging HRD researchers and practitioners.

There are many different reasons for joining AHRD – each member is unique in this respect, but all share a passion to learn, to network, and to improve HRD practice through research and theory.
